Since its finally winter in Brisbane I decided to take full advantage and wear my favorite fur jacket. Winter in Brisbane is very mild (maybe gets down to 50) so I am enjoying it while I can. I love winter clothing because you can layer and be comfy while also looking super chic. I have recently moved into a new apartment in New Farm. My amazing boyfriend, Adam, and I are so happy with our new place. The view from our balcony is unbelievable! You can even see parts of the Story Bridge. The apartment is slowly coming along and I'm putting my small knowledge of interior design to use.

I love any piece of clothing with the words "boyfriend" in the title. St Frock recently sent me these amazing distressed boyfriend jeans. I paired them with one of my boyfriend's shirts. I just grabbed this out of Adam's closet. I truly think that the best "boyfriend" items are none other than actual thing. I now wear this shirt more than Adam does. Its perfect with these cute strappy sandals and skinnies, my boyfriend shorts, or of course boyfriend jeans. Basically it looks amazingly chic with anything. I also love the pale blue color. I have added a link to the same shirt in white which I also love. It is the quintessential boyfriend shirt.

I am OBSESSED with this gold belt by witchery and its perfect with any dress or paired with a black jumpsuit. This outfit is perfect for any summertime event. I wore it to the sunset affair at Bacchus in Southbank and it kept me cool but was super fashionable. Its hard to look stylish and beat the heat when its 30 degrees Celsius and SO HUMID. This California girl is still getting used to the weather in Australia. 

Speaking of Cali, I am heading back to San Francisco this Monday for the holidays and cant wait to tell you all about it.

Alexander Wang + Denim

I bought this Alexander Wang skirt a while back and I absolutely love it! The detailing at the bottom of the skirt is amazing and whether its buisness or pleasure, I think that it can be worn for any occasion. I paired it with a chambray shirt and some heeled sandals for a relaxed but sexy look. Throw on a leather jacket and your set for a night out on the town! 

Strappy Sandals

These heeled sandals have been everywhere lately and all the top design houses have their own take on these simple yet uber stylish shoe.  You can wear these with anything from a floor length gown to a pair of denim shorts and a basic tee.  I love all these options and have recently bought the simple yet AFFORDABLE black pair from Asos in the bottom right corner.
