St Frock Boyfriend Jeans and A Boyfriend Shirt

Photos by Adam Lambert

Lacoste Mens Shirt // St. Frock Boyfriend Jeans // Asos Hollywood Heeled Sandals (similar here)

I have recently moved into a new apartment in New Farm. My amazing boyfriend, Adam, and I are so happy with our new place. The view from our balcony is unbelievable! You can even see parts of the Story Bridge. The apartment is slowly coming along and I'm putting my small knowledge of interior design to use.

I love any piece of clothing with the words "boyfriend" in the title. St Frock recently sent me these amazing distressed boyfriend jeans. I paired them with one of my boyfriend's shirts. I just grabbed this out of Adam's closet. I truly think that the best "boyfriend" items are none other than actual thing. I now wear this shirt more than Adam does. Its perfect with these cute strappy sandals and skinnies, my boyfriend shorts, or of course boyfriend jeans. Basically it looks amazingly chic with anything. I also love the pale blue color. I have added a link to the same shirt in white which I also love. It is the quintessential boyfriend shirt.

I have some VERY exciting things happening with the Katie Eve site. Stay tuned, its going to be worth the wait.

Crowns By 5th and Farmer in Byron Bay

This past week, not only did I have a week off from my Masters program at the University of Queensland, but my parents came to visit me all the way from California! I spent the week sipping champagne and dirty martinis in different beach towns along the Easy Coast of Australia. Not a bad break right?! One of my favorite places we visited was Byron Bay. Byron Bay has the most amazing vibe and its any girl's with a love for bohemian clothing, dream location. Sticking with the town's bohemian lifestyle and feeling some serious Coachella FOMO while scanning my Insta feed, I went full out with this festival inspired look. Believe it or not I am just sitting in front of my hotel room. I had a private villa that overlooked the rainforest around Byron Bay. You could even see the famous Cape Byron Lighthouse. It was a spectacular week and Im sad that not only my parents left but that I had to leave some of the amazing places we stayed at.

The stand out piece in this outfit post is the amazing head piece sent to me by the lovely Jessica from Crowns by 5th and Farmer. She makes the most amazing head jewellery and her brand is becoming a necessity while circuiting the music festival scene.

Make sure to visit her store on Etsy and follow her on Instagram!

Keep your eye on my Instagram feed for some of my later-grams from the trip!

La La Latrobe

The Interior of La La Latrobe in Paddington, Brisbane.

This is the beautiful interior of the boutique I have been working in for the past month. La La Latrobe has been in Paddington for 12 years but have recently revamped their store and look! They supply the most adorable and amazing bohemian clothing including brands, Arnhem and Amilita. The owner Moira also designs her own brand, La La Luxe.

Moira and La La Luxe has recently come out with their summer line titled "Catch a Dream". The lookbook they created for it is gorgeous.

I have added some photos from the lookbook below but you can see the rest on La La Latrobes blog (here) or on their online store (here).

Cafe Connected: Harvest Cafe

Harvest Cafe is located in Newrybar, Australia and tucked away in a white house surrounded by lush greenery.  Only 15 minutes away from the trendy Byron Bay, this restaurant has a scenic view and is a tranquil setting for a nice meal.

Next to the actual building that holds the restaurant there is also a separate house that is a deli and bakery. The deli is decorated with natural woods and rustic decor.  In the deli, there is a dry room where they butcher and cure meats.  They also sell cheeses, honey, oils, sandwiches, and pastries.

The food here was so tasty.  I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a side of avocado.  Some other options on the menu that looked and smelled delicious were the crispy soy marinated tofu with soba noodles or the Sydney Rock Oysters!

Paddington Markets: Sydney, Australia

I was in Sydney this past weekend, marking the half-way point of my road trip down the east coast of Australia.

During my time in Sydney I had the pleasure of going to the Paddington markets.  Filled with up and coming jewelers, bag makers and designers, these markets were a great way to spend a saturday afternoon.  During my time browsing around, I stumbled across a small jewelry stand by the name of SixD.

The owner/designer of the jewelry line, Daisy Daet, has a clear passion for her trade and her line. Her designs and pieces were gorgeous as well as hand made!  She took the time to explain to me the stories behind each design of every piece that I bought. They are great for everyday or can be dressed up as well.

I absolutely love my new pieces and have worn them everyday since!  Cant wait to show them off in some future OOTDs!

Magic Circle Necklace

The Magic Circles are representative of Native American Spirituality, signifying the sacred circle of life, the pathway to peace and harmony, the gathering of surrounding energy, its basic 4 directions and the elements. It symbolises the individual journey each must take to find our own path, that ultimately connects to the infinite.

Elements Ring:
Inspired by the four elements of antiquity earth, water, air and fire.  The Elements Ring symbolises the infinite power binding the elemental forces of the earth.  The mysticism behind the elements comes from the oneness of all beings, the sanctum cosmic harmony with all tribes and therefore, of all life.

Cafe Connected: Australia

Elk, on the Gold Coast of Australia has the best food and coffee in the area, with the decor to match.

My favorite items on the menu were the trio of breakfast bruschetta and the potato hash.

New York State of Mind

I wanted to do a quick post on my recent trip to New York!

I am officially in love with this place.  It is filled with the best food, shopping, and people watching. Everything about this city is amazing.

Cold weather = wearing scarves and boots.  And boy, do I love scarves and boots!

During my stay in the big apple I got the most amazing pair of Pamela Love boots and walked around the craziest concentration of designer stores I've ever seen.

I could die a happy girl.
